Welcome
Hello and welcome. I’m Michele Marie, an artist who has spent a lifetime exploring the beauty of creation through oil painting, pottery, and jewelry design.
Over the years, many of my dear collectors and friends have encouraged me to build a website to share my work more broadly. Until recently, I lacked the discipline to do so—preferring to spend my time in the studio, following inspiration wherever it led. But this year, as a fine art donor for the 2025 Jewel Ball in San Francisco, benefiting the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, I finally decided it was time to bring this long-awaited project to life.
Although I have exhibited in galleries across Maui, San Francisco, and Virginia, I’ll spare you a lengthy résumé. What matters most is not the list of places I’ve shown, but the joy I’ve found in creating—and the collectors who have supported me along the way. Whether through the shimmer of a gemstone, the curve of a ceramic form, or the brushstroke of an oil painting, my work has always been a reflection of life’s transitions and the love that connects us.
For many years, I set my art aside whenever family called. Now, with my children grown and wonderfully independent, I’ve found myself returning to the easel with renewed purpose and passion. With the encouragement of my husband, Stuart, and the continued enthusiasm of my collectors, I am thrilled to share this online gallery with you.
At present, this site focuses primarily on my oil paintings, though I look forward to adding sections for pottery and jewelry in the near future. Many of those pieces have already found their homes, yet I’ll continue to post new works as they are created.
